Product description
Introduced in 1972, Allegan was an idea ahead of its time. Mrs. Estee Lauder created it as the first sports fragrance because she felt that active women needed a scent of their own. I designed it for the contemporary woman who loves casual clothes, lives an active life and travels around the world as if it were her home.
Celebrates the new femininity that emerged in the early 1970s. At that time, perfume ads were about party dresses and glamor, not bikes and hunting boots. Women were surprised and thrilled by this fresh, uplifting fragrance and its lively feel. It was a revolutionary concept at the time, and an idea that is still relevant today.
Top notes: fresh greens, jasmine, citrus.
